The Center performs mammogram, ultrasound and bone densitometry testing.

The quiet, warm, comfortable pre-exam environment of The Center helps to relax visitors for examinations that can often be stressful, sensitive and uncomfortable experiences. Our goal is to continually assess and meet the healthcare needs of the community we serve.

INSTRUMENTARIUM: Performa Series Mammography
While annual screenings are the best method of breast cancer detection, and the earlier the detection, the better we understand that mammograms can often be repeated because the image is unclear. This new system offers the most sophisticated breast imaging technology, providing excellent image quality the first time, which allows the doctor to diagnose with more accuracy. While other mammography machines compress from above, stretching the breast and neck tissue, which causes the discomfort often associated with having a mammogram, the Performa system uses the natural mobility of the breast. This increases patient comfort, and maximizes the amount of breast tissue imaged on film, which increases early detection of breast cancer.

TOSHIBA: Nemio Premium Compact Ultrasound
Multispecialty ultrasound systems that are able to respond to the increasing demand for added and portable procedures. They have exceptional gray-scale quality as well as high sensitivity color flow and spectral Doppler. As the premier system in its class, Nemio 20/30 offers a wealth of imaging technologies with a fully programmable console for one-touch operation developed for professionals.

DELPHI: QDR Series Bone Densitometry
Across the board, the success and achievement of the latest technology from Hologic QDR is recognized as the obvious choice among physicians for determining bone density and the need for treatment based on specific results. Hologic revolutionized the bone dnsitomotry market with the introduction of the first dual energy x-ray (DXA) bone densometer in 1987. Currently Hologic develops, manufactures and markets x-ray bone densometers and ultrasound bone analyzers that address the market for osteoporosis prevention and treatment, a key element in women's health care. The company's Quantative Digital Radiography x-ray bone densometers are used for the precise measurement of bone density to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases.
