of the 2012 Healthgrades Maternity Care Excellence award, coupled with the 2012 Gynecologic Surgery Excellence award, VVCH is placed in the top 10% in the nation among other healthcare providers.
Victor Valley Community Hospital's Maternal Child Services Department includes our Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, Nursery, Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric departments.
As the hospital transitions to a new name, Victor Valley Global Medical Center, and a renewed vision of being the premiere healthcare facility in the High Desert, we look forward to our partnership with the community, the physicians, and other providers in ensuring our community remains strong and healthy.
Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum
Focusing on our philosophy of patient centered care, VVCH makes every aspect of your visit an extraordinary experience. From the birth of your first baby to the delivery of your first grandchild, count on the experienced, compassionate staff to make every addition a blessed moment allowing you to focus on what matters most.
Nursery
VVCH believes in skin-to-skin contact bonding with newborns. At every opportunity, we encourage this bonding practice between you and your new baby and make every effort to accommodate both parents' practices. As you recover from the delivery of your baby, the caring staff watch over your new addition backed by decades of experience and knowledge.
Pediatrics
VVCH's Pediatric Department is unsurpassed in the High Desert for patient centered care. It can be traumatic for you and your child when a stay at the hospital is required. The patient and gentle staff in Pediatrics understands. They are dedicated to helping your child get better and back home to family and friends.
Women's Health Services
Additional services are available for Women's Health including the Outpatient Imaging Center, "The Center" located in the White Dove Professional Building across from the hospital. Please see the links below for more information on services offered through The Center.
